In a barren, timeless pit, two men – one Kurdish, the other Flemish – fight over a single chair they believe will lead them to freedom. As their silent struggle repeats, the chair becomes a symbol of ego, possession, and false hope, trapping them more deeply than the pit itself. Only when they begin to let go does light, reconciliation, and the possibility of escape emerge. A minimalist allegory about how obsession can hide the path to peace.
