Every May, the Amsterdam Kurdish Film Festival (AKFF) brings three days of powerful cinema to one special venue in Amsterdam. We showcase the newest feature films, documentaries, animations, and short films from — and about — Kurdistan, creating a space where stories cross borders and connect people. And we’re only just beginning. In the coming years, we aim to grow into the leading festival in the Netherlands for Kurdish cinema, sharing bold voices and unforgettable stories with an ever-growing audience.
