Lanya Nooralddin is a Kurdish filmmaker with dual BA degrees in accounting and filmmaking. Since 2018, she has worked as a first assistant director, creative director, and script supervisor. Lanya has participated in numerous workshops and seminars on art and filmmaking, contributing to various projects across different companies and organizations. She is head of Filmmaking Department in Zare organization (2024-2025). Lanya worked as an Artistic Director of Zare Film Forum (2025) . Lanya directed multiple short films as student projects: 3 days of 10 years, Old me and Another Earth.
Her first professional Short film “Beyond the Mind” Received a production fund grant from Duhok international film festival, it was selected for the official shorts competition for both Duhok International film festival (2024) and Red Sea International Film Festival where it will have its MENA premier (2025).
