This year, the AKFF Academy presented six powerful and moving projects, each with its own unique artistic vision.
One project particularly stood out for its bold form and layered storytelling. Lanya Nooralddin’s film UNDER reflects on genocide through both visible violence and the ongoing erasure of history and memory. Through a quiet encounter between two men, the film allows the landscape itself to carry witness and remembrance.
