Selin Besili lives and works as a filmmaker and screenwriter in Zurich. In 2016 she completed a one-year preparatory course at the Zurich University of the Arts. In 2024 she graduated with a Bachelor‘s degree in Video with focus on directing from the Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art. Since 2022, she‘s part of the organizing committee of the Youth Film Festival Upcoming Filmmakers in Lucerne, as well as part of the film selection team.
