Biography

Hossein Firouzeh (born 1989) is an independent Kurdish filmmaker based in North Khorasan, Kurdish region in Iran. His work focuses on local Kurdish stories, often exploring the lives of children, women, and underrepresented communities in the region.

With a background in journalism and over a decade of experience as an editor for local publications, Firouzeh brings a strong narrative sensitivity to his films. He has been actively working in cinema for several years, developing a body of work rooted in regional storytelling and social themes.

He studied Cinema at the master’s level and has written and directed both television and independent productions.
