Synopsis

The film “Time of Impatience,” which premiered at the Warsaw Film Festival, tells the story of two brothers living in a poor neighborhood in Diyarbakır. They attempt to enter the pool of a luxurious residential area next to their neighborhood during the scorching summer heat. For these brothers, who face pool-related issues at school, the pool becomes an obsession in their real lives. Buying an inflatable pool with their saved money isn’t sufficient for them. “Why do the rich swim in a real pool while we settle for a fake one?” This question turns into an unstoppable urge. They execute their plan and manage to enter the upscale residential area. At one end of the pool stands a security guard with a baton, at the other end are the two brothers. They are determined to enter that pool at any cost, but they forget one thing…
