Synopsis
A movie about Jina revolution, about victims of “Woman, Life, Freedom”, In 2023 produced by Ferya Younesi. This movie told a story of tow victims of Jina revolution that in revolution time, wanted to make a song for protesters, but they arrested and they are tortured and violated in the Islamic Republic Iran prison. After freedom, they fled from Iran and make their song in another country.
Director
Farya Younesi is a documentary filmmaker, Kurdish novelist and journalist. He was born in the city of Baneh in Iranian Kurdistan. So far, several literary, political, and artistic newspapers and magazines have been published under his editorship. He has been working on Kurdish fiction since 1998. He has published two fiction books in the minimalist story genre and several books of fiction and novels. He has been a journalist for 10 years. Cemetery of the Living is his first edited film experience and Sound Rise is his first short film. He is currently working on a documentary, several short film projects, as well as several feature film scripts.

Synopsis
An architect, feeling colorless in a gray world, escapes to the realm of birds, discovering the story of the last Siberian crane. A male and female crane start their migration, but the female is killed by a hunter. Mourning alone, the male crane faces his solitude and leaves. Bird watchers speculate he’s died when he doesn’t return the next year, but he reappears after two years, calling out in hope. Every year, he returns to the same spot, calling to the sky. Finally, one night, his lost wife answers his call from the stars.

Born in Turkey, Didar studied Architecture and completed a master’s degree in Game Design. While working on a construction site, she decided to change her way of life and left the whole gray world behind to start writing screenplays and making animated films. Omid is the first film of this journey.

Zilan Hemo is a young writer and director from Kobanê. She studied filmmaking at the Academy of Arts Martyr Yekta Herekol. After she graduated, she was one of the first members of the Rojava Film Commune in Kobane where she directed many short films and worked in all the productions of the Commune since 2018. Zilan also published a collection of stories from her grandmother, Çirok bi roj nayên gotin and a book of short stories.

BABY ANT is her first short film as a director.
