In this short documentary, director Julia Zimmermann follows the lives of two Kurdish women from Rojhelat, whose lives were profoundly changed after the protests in Iran due to the death of Jina Mahsa Amini in 2022. The documentary is also nominated for the best short documentary category.

Julia Zimmermann is a German filmmaker, journalist and photo reporter, based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq since 2022. She has been working as a freelance photographer and Videographer with French, Swiss, German and American media such as La Croix, Liberation, Le Soir, Ouest France, Deutsche Welle and international agencies such as AP and SIPA. But she also collaborated also with a local media kurdistanin.net on a documentary about woman.life.freedom for the past year.
