Synopsis

BIJI THE MOVIE is a deeply poetic cinematic experience that compiles all of BIJI’s music videos into a single, unified narrative. The film follows a character on a transformative journey, seeking answers, identity, and a sense of belonging. As the character (Robin Nazari) travels through varied landscapes, from the bustling streets of Stockholm to the majestic, nature and landscapes of Kurdistan, the music becomes a mirror of his emotions and a map to his roots. Each song brings him closer to understanding who he is and where he comes from.BIJI THE MOVIE is a powerful journey toward belonging, a search for home. Created from & for the diaspora. This is a story for the estranged, the dreamers, and all those living under oppression. BIJI is more than a film, it’s a declaration of identity, resilience, and homecoming.
