Raz Kamaran is a Kurdish artist/animator, born in 1995 in Sulaymaniyah, KRG. She studied Graphics and Animation in the College of Fine Arts at the University of Sulaymaniyah. She presented her art pieces in galleries and other platforms, decided in 2019 to enter the world of cinema and founded her animation studio Deq Animation in 2021.
