Orhan İnce graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Cinema and Television at Marmara University. He completed his master’s degree in Film Design at the Fine Arts Institute of Marmara University.
He has written and directed three short films: THE TIME OF HARVEST (2010), ALİ ATA BAK (2012), and ADEM BAŞARAN (2015). These short films were screened at nearly 150 national and international film festivals and received over 40 awards.
With his first feature film project, HÊVÎ (HOPE), he received support from the Ministry of Culture through the “Director Who Will Shoot His First Feature Film” initiative. In addition, his TRT12 Punto screenplay received the “TRT Pre-Purchase Award.” The project was selected for several programs and workshops, including the Bosphorus Film Lab, Antalya Film Fund, Malatya Ertem Eğilmez Family Films Fund, GAIFF PRO C2C Market, and the Balkan Film Market.
