Biography

Ömer Biçer, born in 1987 in Diyarbakır, studied Business and International Economics at Marmara University. Trained at İstanbul Film Academy and Yapımlab, he debuted with the documentary Vartinis (2024). In 2025, he directed the short film Saxiya Gel, focusing on public health issues during the Siege of Sur in 2015–2016.
