Ferhat Ertan was born in 1998 in Siirt, in the Kurdish Region of Turkey. He studied film at various institutions and worked behind the scenes on numerous productions. He directed his first short film, Mask, in 2021, followed by Circle in 2024. Circle was screened at numerous festivals both in Turkey and internationally, earning several awards. In addition to filmmaking, he plays as an instrumentalist in several music bands.
